Shower is a commonly used product in bathrooms. After having a shower, people can take a good shower and bring convenience when taking a bath. However, the shower at home leaks when it is used. Why does the shower leak? The leaking problem of the shower should be solved in time, so as not to waste water resources, and I will introduce the solution to the leakage of the shower.

1. Blockage. If the shower head is used for a long time, there will be rust. The water output will become smaller. Due to the poor water quality, the water contains a lot of alkali, and the scale deposits on the water outlet, causing the shower to block.

2. There is a problem with the coating of the shower head, and it is very unsightly for the coating of the shower head to fall off, so it must be dealt with in time. If you have just bought a shower that has this problem, it will affect the appearance. And some poor quality showers will also cause blockages due to peeling paint.

3. The problem of shower material. Some showers are plastic or cast iron. We can also replace in time. However, it is not recommended that you choose a shower made of cast iron, which is extremely easy to rust. And it looks ugly, clogs the water outlet, and preferably the entire shower is broken.

Second, the solution of shower leakage

(1) Water leakage occurred at the connection between the nozzle and the handle

1. Using the binding band pliers, unscrew the nozzle handle from the hose. If using another wrench, tape the hose to avoid scratches.

2. Clean the threads on the handle and apply plumber's adhesive or plumber's tape around it.

3. Rotate the nozzle back and tighten it by hand. Remove all excess adhesive and tape.

(2) Leakage at the turning ball of the shower head

1. Unscrew the nozzle from the steering ball ring;

2. Find the O-ring inside (this ring prevents water from leaking out) or similar seal. Replace it, then screw the nozzle back into place;

3. The problem of the sprinkler may also be caused by the sand or sediment in the sprinkler, or the accumulation of dander and mineral deposits.

4. The solution is to unscrew the nozzle from the steering ball, and then clean the inside.
